Carlos G. Meighan

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Carlos Gilbert Meighan, who departed this life on October 30, 2025, at the age of 73.

Carlos was born on October 15, 1952, in Stann Creek Valley, Belize. In his early years, he learned the values of hard work, faith, and family that would guide him throughout his life. As a young man, he immigrated to the United States in search of opportunity and built a beautiful life filled with love and purpose.

Carlos was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. He dedicated his life to providing for and protecting his family, always leading with quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering love.

He will be remembered for his generosity, wisdom, and sense of humor, as well as his deep love for sports—especially the joy he found in watching games and sharing lively discussions with his grandsons.

Carlos leaves behind a legacy of love, unity, and perseverance that will forever live in the hearts of his wife, Josephine Meighan, children, Sheena Meighan, and Marsha Meighan, grandchildren, Jay Henderson, Jacquez Henderson and Kenyon Darbeau, great-granddaughter, Nova Henderson, extended family, and many friends who were blessed to know him.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
