Carrie Renee Bustamante

Carrie Renee Bustamante, born on October 31, 1966, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. She was born at the The United States Airforce Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Those who knew Carrie will remember her as a loving wife, devoted mother, dedicated teacher, and sincere friend.

Carrie graduated from Winter Park High School and, later, from Nova Southeastern University with a bachelor's degree in education. She worked as a third and fourth grade teacher with the Orange County Public Schools.

Carrie's journey was marked by warmth, compassion, and a love for God. Her nurturing spirit touched her family, friends, and students deeply. She is survived by her beloved husband, Hiram Bustamante, her three sons, Tomas Bustamante, Arturo Bustamante and Hiram C Bustamante, her mother, father, two sisters, nieces, and nephews. Her husband, Hiram Bustamante, stood by her side through every step of life's path. They enjoyed travel, always being together, and watching sunsets on the beach. Tomas, Arturo and Hiram C Bustamante were her greatest pride and joy. She found fulfillment in supporting their life journeys and celebrating their milestones.

Carrie enjoyed thrifting, puzzles, and spending time on craft projects with her two sisters, Sandra Kiser and Jennie Greenia, and her best friend, Rosemarie Lupi. She had a special place in her heart for children of missionaries and would send them gifts and cards on their birthdays.

Although words cannot fully capture the impact Carrie had on those who loved her, her legacy lives on through the loving bonds she fostered. Her presence brought joy to her home, and her unwavering strength guided her family through life's triumphs and challenges.

Carrie’s family remembers her gentle wisdom, her enduring love, and the courage with which she faced life’s ups and downs. She will be dearly missed, yet her memory remains ever-present in the hearts of those who cherished her.

A Celebration of Life honoring Carrie Renee Bustamante will be held at Eastland Baptist Church, located at 9000 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32825. All who knew Carrie and wish to celebrate her life are welcome to join in remembering a life marked by kindness, love, and devotion.

Carrie’s family extends their gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
