Charles was a man of timeless style and quiet strength. Always well-dressed and confident, he had a signature presence that never went unnoticed. He appreciated the finer things in life a smooth glass of aged scotch, a perfectly chosen cologne, a beautiful piece of art and he embraced them not for show, but because he believed life was meant to be lived fully and beautifully.
His love of music was lifelong and soul-deep. Charles especially adored jazz the rhythm, the soul, the story behind every note. Whether he was relaxing at home or entertaining friends, jazz was the soundtrack to his life, setting the tone for the warmth and charm he carried wherever he went.
Charles had a passion for sports of all kinds, especially baseball, soccer, and tennis. He wasn't just a fan he was a competitor. On the court, he was a fierce and graceful basketball and tennis player. Off the court, he could talk sports for hours, always with insight, humor, and enthusiasm.
Charles also had a soft spot for good storytelling especially the drama and intrigue of daytime television. General Hospital was his favorite, and he followed it faithfully, keeping up with the twists and turns with a smile and sharp commentary.
Beyond sports and entertainment, Charles was an avid reader whose curiosity knew no bounds. Books were his companions, offering him knowledge, escape, and inspiration. He was also a talented photographer, with a gift for capturing the beauty of the world through his lens freezing moments in time so they could be cherished forever.
But above all, Charles lived for his family. He was the rock, the heart, and the steady hand. He is survived by his beloved wife, Amarilis; his sons, Fitzgerald and Eric; his daughters, Sandra, Diana, and Tamika; and his two grandchildren, Zoe and Enzo, who brought endless light and joy to his days.
He also leaves behind his loving brothers and sisters, who shared in his life, his laughter, and his legacy. Their bond was unbreakable, and their memories together will continue to live on with love and pride.
