Charlotte "Lorraine" Horn

Charlotte “Lorraine” Horn, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 95. Born in Lansdale, PA, on April 20, 1931, Lorraine’s journey through life was marked by kindness, generosity, and a radiant spirit that brightened the days of those who were fortunate to know her.

Lorraine was the cherished daughter of the late Charlotte Fawthorp Schlosser and Wellington Schlosser. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Horn; her sisters, Betty Talbot, Janet Martin, Joan Leo, and Phyllis Fox; and her grandson, William “Billy” Lamberson. Though she endured personal losses, Lorraine’s grace and warmth never faded, and her legacy lives on through her devoted family.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Charlotte Smith and Nancy Lowe, and her treasured grandchildren: Tammi, Anthony, Michael, Houston, and Travis. Lorraine’s love extended to her great-grandchild, Morgan, and those she welcomed as family, including Cora and her sons-in-law: Charles Anthony, Andy, and Chris. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, each touched by her kindness.

Throughout her life, Lorraine embodied a spirit of unwavering love and service. She was a familiar and welcoming presence at the Roberts card shop, where she generously volunteered her time. Known for her thoughtfulness, she made it a point to celebrate every employee’s birthday, ensuring that everyone felt valued. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle as she took joy in collecting food for the Second Harvest Food Bank, making a tangible difference in her community.

Lorraine was ever thoughtful and considerate; there was always a Get Well Soon or Thinking of You card at the ready, a small but meaningful gesture that brought comfort to many. She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her beautiful smile and innate ability to make friends wherever she went—Lorraine never met a stranger. Her radiant positivity and sincere warmth were, as many will attest, a blessing to all.

Faith was a central part of Lorraine’s life; she loved the Lord and lived her beliefs through daily acts of kindness and steadfast devotion. One of her greatest joys was bingo, which she played faithfully every Tuesday night and during the day. These simple pleasures were made special by Lorraine’s infectious enthusiasm and the joy she shared with others. Among her favorites was the hymn “Amazing Grace,” a song that perfectly captured her grateful heart.

The family fondly remembers Lorraine as someone who brought joy and hope to each day, always ready with an encouraging word, a helping hand, or a simple smile that could turn a day around.

Lorraine’s legacy is one of unconditional love and the quiet strength of kindness. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
