Clara Rowan Grainger, age 64 of Orlando, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was born to John Rowan and Juanita Rowan in Savannah, Georgia on February 15, 1945. She was a retired prison guard for the Dept. of Corrections. She is survived by her son, Noel Wayne Abbott; daughter, Laura Michelle Flach; brothers John Edward Rowan and Bill Rowan; sister, Ramona Burkett and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1PM-2PM Monday, November 23 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will begin at 2PM in the funeral home chapel.
