Minnick, Cleveland Paul

Cleveland Paul Minnick, age 74 of Orlando, Florida passed away on 9/1/2025 after a valiant battle against cancer. Everyone called him Paul or Chief. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland on December 12th,1950 to John Melvin Minnick Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Britton. He graduated from Francis Scott Key High School and Baltimore Community College. He served and defended our country for 39.5 years and achieved the highest rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. His beliefs of persistence, problem solving, completing the mission with 110% percent effort, and supporting and helping his team achieve goals left a lasting legacy in the Florida Army National Guard . He was a mentor to many warrant officers and service members who looked up to him. He is survived by his loving wife Edeltraud, family, friends, and military brothers.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Tunnels 2 Towers in memory of Cleveland Minnick.
