He will also be missed by his partner in crime, Jennifer Bass, his cousins Kate Abel and Vicci LeFort, his Alabama family with whom he recently reconnected, and Lily, his beloved black lab . 

CJ Bass will be lovingly remembered for his generous spirit, the laughter he brought to the dinner table, and the way he would come home late from work, eliciting a familiar “Hello, late for dinner” from his family. He leaves behind an enduring legacy built on love, strength, and storytelling—a testament to a life well-lived.
