David A. Garrels (Senior Chief; USN, Ret.), 54, of Lake Mary, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
He was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a retired Senior Chief in the United States Navy.
David was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan and also loved bowling and golf. He was a very comedic person and could always make you laugh. David was a mentor and many people are where they are because of him.
He was preceded in death by his Brother, Larry Dean Garrels.
David is survived by his wife, Michelle Garrels, parents Larry and Shelby Garrels; brother, Garry L. Garrels; step-son, Shawn M. Hoffman, step-daughters, Angela M. Hoffman and Celina A. Santiago.
