David R. Andersen

David R. Andersen, age 78, of Maitland, Florida passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at AdventHealth Hospital Orlando.

He was born on February 22, 1947 in Highland Park, IL, son to his late parents, Raymond and Marjorie (Berglund) Andersen. On August 4, 1974, he was married to the former Nancy Krueger, to whom he shared 51 beautiful years of marriage.

In addition to his loving wife, Nancy Andersen, David is survived by his son, John David Andersen and his wife, Kristina; his daughter, Jaynee Lynn Thompson and her husband, Ryan; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne Tiger, Thomas Thompson, Elin Andersen, Luke D. Thompson, Wolfgang Andersen, Jenna Thompson, and Joseph Thompson; and his sister, Sheroll Mamer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas J. Andersen; and a granddaughter, Emma Anne Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:30 am at Aloma Church, 1815 FL-436, Winter Park, FL 32792.
