David Gartee, 64 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015.
He was born on March 6, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Nathan and Beverly (Binger) Gartee who have both preceded him in death. He graduated from Macomber High School in Toledo, class of 1968. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1969. He retired from Dupont having worked in Toledo, Ohio and Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
David or Poppy as he was known by his grandchildren is survived by his loving wife, Janice L. (Reneger) Gartee; son, Dan K. Gartee; daughter, Tami L. Paren; daughter-in-law, Shelley M. Gartee; son-in-law, Richard L. Paren; brother, Nathan Gartee; sister, Karen Buck; sister, Debbie Amstutz; brother, Rickard Gartee; brother, Randy Gartee; brother, Kevin Gartee; brother, Bryon Gartee and grandchildren, Jacob D. Pachasa, Madison L. Pachasa, Drew K. Gartee, Trent A. a.k.a. "Little" Gartee and Kelsey L. Paren.
