David Keith Hanson, 65, passed away on February 28, 2026. Born on October 26, 1960, David lived a life defined by dedication, love for his family, and a warm spirit that touched everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Keith L. Hanson, and his brother, Terry Hanson. David is survived by his beloved mother, Geneva N. Hanson; his son, Kyle Hanson, who was the center of his life and his greatest pride; his brother, Peter Hanson; and his sisters, Cheryl Coats, Carol Bianco, and Christine Siler.

David was a hard working and devoted employee of Acousti Engineering, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, he found peace and joy in fishing, a pastime he cherished deeply.

Above all, David will be remembered for his immense love for his family, especially his son and his mother. His big heart was only surpassed by the warmth of his smile—a smile that brought comfort, laughter, and light to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
