David M. Morris

David M. Morris, 86 of Winter Park, Florida passed away on October 7, 2026.

David was born on July 2, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio.   In Ohio, he worked for the F. W. Bell Company as an Operations Manager for 15 years.  He moved to Florida in 1979 and began to work as an Operations Manager for Continental Testing and a Branch Manager for Paychex, prior to his retirement.

David proudly serviced in the United States Navy as a First Class Petty Officer.  He served on the USS Intrepid and the USS Independence during his service years.

David enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his dog, family and especially his granddaughter.  He was a history buff and learned as much as possible about World War II.

David is survived by his loving wife of 58 years,  Marcia L. Morris; his daughter, Kellie Hansen and her husband Scott;  his special granddaughter, Allison Hansen, his beloved dog, Bailey; his god son, Richard Bizousky II and wife Charlotte and god daughter, Lindsey Martin.  He is also survived by his sister in law, Jeannette McPeek, several nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Winter Park Chapel.  A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 PM.
