David Owen Noell Sr. 83, of Altamonte Springs FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 12, 2025
Dave was born on June 1, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN moved to Hollywood, FL in 1947 and has lived in Altamonte Springs since 1980.
Dave spent most of his career with National Airlines. He served as Regional Cargo Sales Manager until the Pan Am merger. Later he was appointed by the contractor to operate and manage the Greater Orlando Aviation Department’s specialized cargo handling Facility.
Dave was a deeply dedicated and highly valued member of the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Citizens on Patrol Program, where he served with distinction as the South Regional Coordinator for over 20 years. His unwavering commitment to public service and volunteerism made a lasting impact on the community he loved so much. He found true joy in giving back, and his passion for service was matched only by his pride in driving the beloved 17-1 classic car – a 1962 Chevy Bel-Aire. With a smile on his face and a deep sense of pride, Dave could be seen behind the wheel of 17-1 classic car at countless community events, including Christmas, Independence Day, and Veterans Day parades, Community events, Car Shows & School Programs.
For 60 years, Dave shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, a bond built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. He was always just a phone call away, ready to listen, encourage, or lighten the mood with one of his many jokes. More than anything, Dave was proud of his family. He poured his heart into supporting his loved ones, celebrating their successes, and being a steady source of guidance and comfort. His legacy is not only in the stories and laughter he shared, but in the strength of the family he cherished.
Dave was preceded in death by his father Raymond, his mother Mabelle, son Dave O. Noell Jr and his beloved cat Puster.
He was survived by his wife of 60 years Sandy Noell, Daughters Kim Monson (Tony), Tricia Lynch (Travis), Grandchildren Hunter Monson (Mallory), Cody Monson (Ciarra), Taylor Hurley (Austin), Kyle Lynch, Great Grand Children Zoie Monson, Nicolas Monson, Benjamin Monson, Cody Jr Monson, Olivia Monson, Lacie May Hurley, Layla Hurley.
