David Wyatt Roberts passed away on September 11, 2026, in Winter Park, Florida, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on September 2, 1963, in Seattle, Washington.
David will be remembered as a quirky, funny, and creative man whose love of laughter and gift for storytelling left a lasting impression on those around him. He had an artistic spirit and found joy in painting, writing music and poems, and playing video games. He also dearly loved his dog, Lucy. Above all, David was proud of the love his family shared and took great pride in the size of his family, which meant so much to him throughout his life.
David devoted more than 45 years to the window and door remodeling industry, building a life of hard work and dedication. For more than 30 of those years, he was also a business owner in that same field, a role that reflected his determination, experience, and commitment to his craft.
He is survived by his children, Chasity Alamina, David Roberts, and Heather Vega and her husband, Samir; his mother, Alice Johnson; and his grandchildren, Annalisa Giles, Daniel Giles, Katherine Giles, Brandon Giles, Lucas Giles, and Lydia Roberts. The family he cherished so deeply will continue to carry forward his humor, creativity, and the stories he loved to share.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Roberts; his father, Frank Johnson; his son, Billy Markus; and his brother, Daniel Wade Roberts.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
