Deanna Wolford

Deanna Jean Wolford, 55, beloved daughter, sister and friend, passed away on October 27, 2026. Deanna- whose name means God's Gift of Love- was indeed that. Born December 16, 1970 in Ypsilanti, Michigan she moved to Orlando at age 7 and considered herself a Florida girl. Deanna loved sunshine and flowers, all animals, especially her dogs and cats, and college football- Gators and Knights.

Deanna was a graduate of the University of Central Florida College of Education. She was a Kindergarten teacher at Azalea Park Elementary School, where she began her lifelong love of education as a student. With OCPS for more than 35 years, Deanna touched so many lives. She believed her pupose was to make sure her students loved school and would love learning forever.

Deanna is survived by her mother, Joyce Wolford, her sister Kathy Maples, cousins Bill Heitman and Jamie Heitman and wife Amy; her best friend Karen Main and husband Kevin and their sons Perry and Jack; and her immediate circle, the Main family, the Walker family, and the Doying family, whom she loved deeply.

Deanna knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Her service will be officiated by Pastor Steven Lee of The Church at the Barn. We know that she has gone to Heaven to reunite with loved ones, and we know that we will see her again.
