Dennis Weston (84) of Longwood, Florida passed on Monday, August 12, 2024. A passionate adventurer, Dennis loved to travel the country in his Foretravel RV with his co-pilot of 55 years, Sandy.
Dennis loved his family and was so proud of them. Besides his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his three daughters Michelle (Robert) Mullinax of Smiths Station, AL; Mary (Brad) Koch of Sterrett, AL; and Ann (Shannon) Orr of Wake Forest, NC. Dennis and Sandra have 8 grandchildren: Kylie (Kyle) Bryant, Bryce Koch, Bryana (Zack) Andrews, Devyn Koch, Hayley Mullinax, Colby Orr, Cassie Mullinax, and Kierstin Orr. Dennis and Sandra also celebrate 2 great-granddaughters: Kenna and Weston Bryant.
Dennis was born to Marion (Bjerke) and Clifford Weston on March 18, 1940 in Stoughton, WI. He is preceded in death by his sister Lois (Glenn) Krekling. He is survived by his sister Jeanne (Lowell) Jacobson and his brother Rod Weston as well as several nieces and nephews. A 1958 graduate of Stoughton High School, Dennis participated in track & field, was on the Drumline, and was a member of the Stoughton Norwegian Dancers.
Dennis and Sandra (Kwiecinski) were married on May 31, 1969 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Madison, WI. Dennis worked for Webcrafters, Inc. (Madison, WI) for 40 years (1962) as Vice President of Sales. This position took him to New York City (1970) and then to Orlando, FL in 1984. Dennis and Sandra have lived in Stoughton, WI; Westfield, NJ; Leesburg, FL; Janesville, WI; and Longwood, FL.
Dennis loved his woodworking, oil painting, gardening, remodeling, and cheering his girls at softball games. He was the Athletic Booster President at Lake Brantley HS (1988-1990). Most of all, he loved telling his stories, making people laugh and feel loved - his laughter would light up a room, and seeing all his friends from across the country. Our family has been truly blessed.
