Dolores Fields

Dolores Frances Fields, 92, of Orlando, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we rejoice in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior.

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Dolores later made Central Florida her home, where she lived for more than 40 years. She embraced life with enthusiasm, resilience, and a heart devoted to those she loved.

From 1955 to 1958, Dolores proudly served in the United States Air Force, a chapter of her life that reflected the strength, independence, and determination that would remain hallmarks of her character throughout her life

For more than 25 years, Dolores had the privilege of working at Walt Disney World, a place she lovingly considered her "happy place." The friendships she formed during her years at Disney remained among her most treasured, and even after retirement, she loved bringing her own family back to the parks to share that same magic together.

Dolores was a strong-willed, determined woman, and never afraid to speak her mind. Yet beneath that strength was one of the sweetest and most loving women you could ever meet. She was a fun-loving, feisty Italian woman whose laughter, warmth, and generous spirit filled every room. She loved cooking and enjoyed taking cruises and making new memories, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with the people she loved most.

Dolores is survived by her brother, John Bastiani; her three sons, Gary Fields, John Fields, and Charlie Fields; and her five beloved grandchildren. She held her family close to her heart and treasured the memories they shared throughout her life.

While our family will deeply miss her laughter, wisdom, determination, and unconditional love, we are grateful for the countless memories she leaves behind. Her legacy is found not only in the family she cherished, but in every life she touched with her kindness, perseverance, humor, and generous heart.

A Celebration of Life honoring Dolores will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized
