Edward William Cote

Edward William Cote (May 28th 1954 – May 13th 2025) 

Edward William Cote was born on May 28, 1954, to Walter and Alice Cote in Millinocket, Maine. The youngest of twelve children, he was predeceased by five siblings and is survived by six. 

Ed spent his childhood summers in Canada, near La Rivière Bleue, making cherished memories with his family. At just 17 years old, he met the love of his life, Kathy Gail Pereira, and never looked back. They married on July 27, 1973, and shared a deep and enduring love for 52 years. 

He was a proud father to two children, Edward William Cote Jr. (Shannon Cote, daughter-in-law) and Adea Marie Arrison, and a devoted papa to six grandchildren: Taylor Cote, Shane Cote, Benjamin Arrison, Noah Arrison, Emily Arrison and Wyatt Cote. 

Ed dedicated his life to God and his family. A devout Catholic, he served in several ministries within the Church and had the honor of sponsoring many new Catholics on their faith journey. 

He found joy in the simple things—long drives with Kathy, often leading to a beach where they'd enjoy the sun and collect seashells. He created countless treasured memories with his grandchildren, teaching them lessons only a Papa could. 

Ed left this Earth and entered the arms of our loving Father on the morning of May 13th, 2025. He will be dearly loved and deeply missed.
