Elias Ricardo Rivera was a beloved son, brother, fiancé, and family man whose life was marked by love, learning, and devotion to those closest to him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Juan Lopez Torres of Puerto Rico, and his aunt, Dominique Ann Henry of Deltona, FL.

Elias was a proud graduate of Valencia College and the University of Central Florida, where he earned his degree in English Literature. A lifelong reader and thoughtful conversationalist, he found joy in stories, ideas, and meaningful discussions. He was also a licensed insurance agent and approached his work with integrity and dedication.

In his personal life, Elias treasured time spent with family and loved ones. He enjoyed visits to amusement parks, days at the beach, gaming, nature, drawing, and quiet moments with a good book. In recent years, he had been deeply engaged in the study of Judaism, embracing spiritual growth and reflection as part of his personal journey. His gentle spirit, wit, and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Isabel (Mario) Simmons of Orlando, FL; siblings, Deante Rivera of Allentown, PA and Demi (Erik) Stankowitz of Mt. Dora, FL; grandparents, Maria (Darren) Frazier of Kissimmee, FL and Darryl (Margarita) Henry of Deltona, FL; aunts, Maria Lopez of Monticello, FL, Charissa Henry of Deltona, FL, LaVonya Renee (Eric) Woods of Missouri City, TX; uncles, Jordan Adams of Allentown, PA, Alberto Lopez of Allentown, PA, Angel Lopez of Puerto Rico, Anthony Diaz of NY; and Eddie (Jennifer) Diaz of Deltona, FL and David O. Simmons, Jr. of DeLand, FL; cousins Kaiel Deshawn Williams, Mason Adams, Travis Addison, Jr., Amalee Decuir, Jasmine Verdule, Devin Woods and Morgan Woods of Chicago, IL. Great-aunts and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly

He is survived by his father, Juan Ricardo (Brittney) Rivera and brothers Bryce Rowan Rivera and Chase Karter Wentz all of South Whitehall, PA; grandmother Lizzie Rivera and grandfather Hector C. Rivera Sr. all of Allentown, PA; uncles Hector (Marilu) Rivera and Rudy (Sandi) Rivera all of Allentown, PA; cousins Aiden Rivera and Liam Rivera all of Allentown, PA; and many third-generation Vegas family and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

He is also survived by his beloved fiancée and the loves of his life, Sheridan Chavez and her son Maximus Chavez. He loved and cherished them both deeply.

Elias Ricardo Rivera will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of knowledge, and unwavering devotion to family. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
