Ellen V. Nargi, 87, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Ellen lived a life of great faith in God and devotion to her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Born on March 5, 1937, in Norwalk, CT, Ellen was the daughter of Mary and Thomas Vincent and the youngest of seven. She attended high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford, CT. Upon graduating, she headed to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. to study to become a dental hygienist.

Ellen loved to travel. Together with her late-husband Ron, she owned and operated multiple travel agencies for the better part of three decades, inspiring and facilitating their many travel adventures around the world. Ron and Ellen’s re-telling of all their travel experiences through the years has enkindled a love of travel in the whole family, especially the grandchildren who are all well-traveled.

Ellen’s deep devotion to her Catholic faith was evident to all who knew her. She passed on that faith to her family, young and old, not just by word but by example through living her faith every day.

Family was the joy of Ellen’s life. She loved getting together with every one of them as often as possible to catch up on what was new in their lives. She is survived by son Ron Jr. (Lori); daughter Marie; son Michael (Jeanette); son Patrick (RaeLynn); sister Patricia; as well as 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Ronald Nargi, husband; Mary and Thomas Vincent, parents; Thomas Vincent Jr. (Louise), brother; Margaret (John), sister; Arthur, brother; Robert, brother; Mary (Edward), sister; Terrence Murphy, brother-in-law and Baker Heard, son-in-law.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Ellen on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orlando, FL where Ron and Ellen are parishioners.
