Esperanza Nieves Ross,80 añ0s, una mujer de fortaleza, fe y buen corazón, partió en paz de este mundo en el Lotus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center en Orlando. Nació en San Juan, Puerto Rico, y fue la amada hija de sus padres fallecidos, Luis Manuel Nieves Rivera y Justina Ross Sánchez– Falleció el 8 de junio de 2025 en Orlando, Florida

A lo largo de su vida, Esperanza fue conocida por su profunda fe en Dios, su seriedad y, sobre todo, su generosidad. Creía en ayudar a los demás antes que a sí misma, especialmente cuando se trataba de su familia, y su amabilidad fue una luz guía para todos los que la conocieron. También tenía un lado divertido, con un gran sentido del humor; disfrutaba de un cigarrillo de vez en cuando, escuchaba su música favorita de El Gran Combo y tenía un amor especial por figuras de Elefantes.

Esperanza deja atrás a su hija, Olga Rosado, y a su yerno, Ángel Santiago; sus tres nietos, Michael (y su esposa, Amanda), Saul (y su esposa, Yanelín), y Ángel (y su novia, Leida); sus tres bisnietos, Yeilianys, Joseph y Saul Jr.; su hermano, Roberto Nieves; y sus hermanas, Irenes y Noemí Nieves. También deja a muchos otros seres queridos que atesorarán su memoria para siempre.

Fue precedida en la muerte por sus dos hijos, Saul M. Carrasco y Rafael Rosado; su hermana, Ramonita Nieves; y sus cuatro hermanos: Raúl, José, Luis y Rafael Nieves.

Esperanza fue una mujer de increíble fortaleza y compasión, una verdadera creyente en la bondad de la vida, y alguien que siempre ponía a los demás en primer lugar, incluso a costa de sí misma, pero eso nunca le importó. Su espíritu y amor serán profundamente extrañados y recordados con mucho cariño.

Los servicios funerarios se realizarán el miércoles 11 de junio de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Newcomer – Capilla East Orlando, ubicada en 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, con el pastor Enzo Rosa oficiando.

Esperanza Nieves Ross, 80 years old, a woman of strength, faith, and a kind heart, peacefully departed from this world at Lotus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orlando. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was the beloved daughter of her late parents, Luis Manuel Nieves Rivera and Justina Ross Sánchez– Passed away June 8, 2025, in Orlando, Florida

Throughout her life, Esperanza was known for her deep faith in God, her seriousness, and above all, her generosity. She believed in helping others before herself, especially when it came to her family, and her kindness was a guiding light for everyone who knew her. She also had a fun side with a great sense of humor; she enjoyed a cigarette from time to time, listened to her favorite music from El Gran Combo, and had a special love for elephant figurines.

Esperanza leaves behind her daughter, Olga Rosado, and her son-in-law, Ángel Santiago; her three grandchildren, Michael (and his wife, Amanda), Saul (and his wife, Yanelín), and Ángel (and his girlfriend, Leida); her three great-grandchildren, Yeilianys, Joseph, and Saul Jr.; her brother, Roberto Nieves; and her sisters, Irenes and Noemí Nieves. She also leaves many other loved ones who will cherish her memory forever.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Saul M. Carrasco and Rafael Rosado; her sister, Ramonita Nieves; and her four brothers—Raúl, José, Luis, and Rafael Nieves.

Esperanza was a woman of incredible strength and compassion, a true believer in the goodness of life, and someone who always put others first—even at her own expense—but she never minded. Her spirit and love will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, located at 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, with Pastor Enzo Rosa officiating.
