Fabio Farci

Fabio Farci, born December 8, 1981, passed away on September 16, 2026.

Fabio was widely known as an artist, a creative spirit, and a memorable presence to all who knew him. He was well known as a graffiti artist in Cagliari and also recognized as an artist in Flumini. His talent and identity were deeply rooted in art, and he was also well known in the hip hop industry. Music, art, and cooking were lasting passions in his life, shaping both the work he created and the way he moved through the world.

He graduated from the academy of Belle Arti di Firenze, a foundation that reflected and strengthened his artistic gifts. After first coming here, Fabio worked with Quirch Foods with the Navy Exchange as a meat and seafood butcher. His work ethic quickly stood out, and after just six months he was promoted to manager in the meat and seafood department at the Navy Exchange. He was known as a good worker, someone whose effort and reliability were recognized by those around him.

Fabio will also be remembered for the qualities that made him so easy to love. He was respectful and funny, generous in spirit, and known as everybody’s friend. People knew him everywhere, and he lived and loved loudly. He left an impression not only through his art, but through his warmth, his presence, and the way he connected with people. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Family memories of Fabio begin in childhood, when his independent nature was already shining through. His father, Biagio, remembered giving him money to go across the street to buy the newspaper and reminding him to look both ways before crossing. The image remains vivid: Fabio’s little head swiveling from left to right as he ran across the street. Another cherished family memory recalls Fabio at about 8 years old while sightseeing with the family. Not wanting to leave, he hid, prompting Biagio to joke, “he wants to live here, let’s leave,” only for Fabio to come running from his hiding spot, exclaiming, “I’m here, I’m here!” These moments capture the spirited, determined, and unforgettable person he was from the very beginning.

Fabio is survived by his father, Biagio Farci; his step-mother, Elizabeth Farci; his sister, Claudia Farci; his brother-in-law, Roberto; his nephew, Milo; his grandmothers - who inspired his love of cooking - Gesuina and Assunta; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gugliemina Frau and his loving grandmother, Assunta; his two grandfathers, Elmo and Luigi.

Fabio Farci will be remembered with love for his talent, his humor, his generosity, and the unmistakable energy he brought into the lives of others. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, his friends, and the many people whose lives were brightened by knowing him.
