Galina Kadatskaya, born on June 25, 1928, in Pivnevka, Ukraine, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Longwood, Florida. She was a spirited individual with a deep love for her family, possessing a crafty and energetic personality that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Galina was known for her beautiful singing voice, which she cherished throughout her life, alongside her passion for dancing. Her vibrant spirit extended into her hobbies; she was an avid gardener, finding joy in nurturing plants, with a proven ability to make anything she planted flourish. Additionally, her talents in crocheting, sewing, and cooking showcased her creativity and hard work.
At the age of 74, Galina made the courageous decision to move to the United States, embracing a new culture and language. With determination, she learned English well, exemplifying her active and hardworking nature. Her adventurous side revealed itself in her enjoyment of waterparks and roller coasters, where the thrill brought joy to her later years.
Above all, Galina took great pride in her family. She devoted her life to caring for them and was a loving mother to her three children: Lyudmila Laganin, Tamara (Alexander) Komarova, and Yuriy (Svetlana) Kadatskiy. Galina was also blessed with seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kuzma Litvinenko, her mother, Natalia Litvinenko, and her sisters, Maria Sokolova, Nina Povetko, and Evdokiya Romashenko.
Visitation for Galina will be held on February 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole, located at 335 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750. Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will be conducted at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Afterward, family and friends are invited to gather at Yuriy's Home, 3750 Safflower Terrace, Oviedo, FL 32766, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, to celebrate her life together.
Galina Kadatskaya will be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those around her. Her legacy of family devotion and spirited joy will continue to inspire and bring warmth to all who knew her.
