George D Daniel

George Djemil Daniel, of Winter Park, was called home to the Lord, on September 18th, 2026. George, age 81, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be greatly and deeply missed by all who knew him. 

George was born on September 9, 1945 in Latakia, Syria. Growing up in Syria, George then moved to Florence, Italy in his 20's to continue his studies and work. Later, he met his lovely wife, Beverly, of Merritt Island, FL, while she was studying in Florence. He moved to Orlando in July 1977 to be with Beverly. They married at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island, and had 3 beautiful children whom he adored. George loved the Lord and they raised their children in the Catholic Church. George enjoyed painting, woodworking, visiting old cities, people (he never met a stranger), and most of all being with his family. George also enjoyed spending his mornings walking on Park Avenue, talking with everyone he met. But what he loved most were his beautiful grandchildren. They brought him so much joy. His smile reflected
how much love he had for all the things he loved. 

He is predeceased by his father Djemil George Daniel and his mother Cocab Srour. George is survived by his beautiful wife Beverly Carol Cesary Daniel, children Djemil George (Christine) Daniel, Jomana Carol Daniel, Tania Lee (Carl) Fangue, his grandchildren, Francesca,
Brooklynn, Jaxson, Ryleigh, and his cousins Joumana and George Richou.
