Glenn L. Inboden, born on October 21, 1940, in Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, in Tavares, Florida. He was a treasured member of his community and a dedicated professional who devoted thirty years of his career to air conditioning maintenance for the Orange County Public School System.
He was a charter member of Fairview Shores Baptist Church and a founding member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Glenn was a man of quiet strength and remarkable kindness. Known for his gentle spirit and a uniquely kind heart, he was always there for those in need, offering support and assistance without hesitation. Friends and family fondly remember Glenn as someone who lived life with integrity. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as boating and driving his pick-up truck, but perhaps most importantly, he had a special place in his heart for his beloved German Shepherd, Dutchess.
His loved ones recognized him as not just a brother, but the finest brother they could ever have—a source of unwavering support and a wonderful uncle. He had a lifelong friendship with his friend John Henry that spanned 45 years, he created bonds that reflected his dedication and care for those around him. Glenn’s legacy is characterized by a life well-lived and cherished memories that will linger in the hearts of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Margaret (Lowe) Inboden, as well as his cousins Opal and Floranel. Glenn's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
A respectful viewing will be held on December 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole, located at 335 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held later that day at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL, starting at 12:00 PM and concluding at 12:30 PM.
Glenn L. Inboden will be remembered not just for his work, but for the love and friendship he extended to others, touching lives in ways that will be remembered with great fondness.
