Gaetano "Guy" Cappello

Guy Cappello, born August 29, 1958, in Bronx, NY, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Altamonte Springs, FL. Known for his friendly and outgoing nature, he was a friend to everyone and deeply compassionate. His kindness and humor left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Guy enjoyed working in the food industry because he liked meeting new people. He worked in supermarket management, he ran a coffee truck and he owned a Manhattan Bagel franchise. 

Guy loved antique sports cars and had owned several such as his 1967 Camaro, 1967 Thunderbird and his 1939 Chevy Master. He was a big collector of tools and loved working on his cars and fixing things around the house.Guy's proudest accomplishments were his son, his family, and overcoming cancer. 

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cappello, and his son, Guy Cappello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he was very fond of and had close relationships with.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole, Longwood, FL. A Mass will follow on June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood, FL. The inurnment will take place the same day at 12:45 p.m. at Queen of Angels Cemetery in Winter Park, FL.
