Helen Fay Catalano

November 5, 1931 – October 14, 2026

Helen Fay Adams Catalano, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully on October 14, 2026, at the age of 94.

Helen was born on November 5, 1931, in Gray, Kentucky, to Goldie and Hubert Ferris.

She married the love of her life, Ernest Adams, who preceded her in death. Together, they raised their two children, Mark Adams and Brenda (Adams) Cunningham, both of whom also preceded her in death. Though she endured the heartbreaking loss of those she loved, Helen remained steadfast in her faith and devoted to her family. Later in life, she married Philip Catalano, who also preceded her in death.

Helen devoted much of her life to lovingly caring for her family and creating a home filled with love. Throughout most of her life she was actively involved in her church, where she found community and expressed her devotion to her faith.

In her later life, Helen’s greatest joy was her granddaughter, Sarah (Adams) O’Dell. They shared a bond that was truly special and will always be cherished.

Helen leaves behind her granddaughter, Sarah, and her daughter-in-law, Denise Adams.

While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in remembering Helen for her enduring faith, vivid storytelling, love of sweets, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
