Herel Joseph Javurek

Herel J. Javurek June 2nd 1955 - March 10th 2025.Parents: Joseph and Antonia Javurek.He was the youngest of six children. Richard, Charles, Camille, Barbara and Stephanie. He is survived by his wife Ivy, brother in law John and many nieces and nephews.

If you knew Jay, you know he always had a story to tell. Here is his story.Jay was born and raised on Long Island N.Y. Until the age of 15. He and his parents moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1970. When he arrived in Florida Herel no longer wanted to be known as HEREL. So he introduced himself to everyone as "J". Over time "J" became Jay. Jay met Ivy in May 1977 where Ivy worked as a waitress at the Ranch House Restaurant. Jay and Ivy married in May 1978 in an outside wedding ceremony. This May would have been their 47th anniversary.

Jay's Military Career: 1976: Joined Florida Army National Guard HHB 1st Bn 265th ADA. Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL.1979: Activated - Gas Crisis. Ft. Lauderdale, FL.1979: Activated - Hurricane David. West Palm Beach, FL.1980: Activated - Mariel Boat Lift. Key West, FL. 1980: Activated - Miami Riots. Miami, FL.1987: Activated - Pope John Paul visit. Miami, FL. 1988: AGR - He started new unit. Training NCO. HHB 164th ADA BDE. Datewyler Dr. Orlando, FL.1990-1991: Desert Storm - CAO (Casualty Assistance Officer).1993: Medically retired as Sergeant 1st Class E-7.ADA = IF IT FLIES, IT DIES!

Life Careers:1973: Graduated High School.1982: Attended NIT National Institute of Technology. 1984: Graduated NIT with a Bachelor degree in electronics. 1994: Ran his own bulletin board system online - "Freedom Board BBS".1996: Attended Orange Technical College. Security officer/OSHA. 1997: Worked in security for a private company. 2010:Medically retired. 

Hobbies and Loves includes: His Doberman Pinchers "Pumpkin, Donut, Cocoa, Sergeant, and Mason".Writing on Medium.com, creating websites and webpages, crafting, gardening, bee keeping, scuba diving, archery, range shooting, fishing, reading and sci-fi.

* Gaming was his passion:Eve online, Civilization 5,6 & 7. World of Tanks, World of Ships, War of Conquest, Mech Warrior, Calypso, Lord of the Rings online, Borderlands, War Frame. His most loved game was Planet Side and Planet Side 2. He created (DOG) Dangerous Operations Group and was the outfit leader - Noivad.He has posted on you tube, movies of some of the outfits missions.
