Jaime A. Benavente, Sr.

Jaime Arturo Benavente, age 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home in Orlando.

He was born on May 26, 1948 in Nazca, Peru, son to his late parents, Emilio and Albina (Rivera) Benavente.

Jaime is survived by his wife, Leonor A. Benavente; his son, Jaime Benavente, Jr., and his wife, Veronia; two daughters, Ruth Benavente and her husband, Hector Almedina, and Abigail Benavente; six grandchildren, Valerie Benavente, Abril Benavente, Quentin Acosta, Jr., Gianella Benavente, Bianca Benavente, and Gabriel Almedina; and three brothers, Herico Benavente, Victor H. Benavente, and Francisco Benavente.

He was preceded in death by his parents four sisters, Isabel Benavente, Maria Benavente, Vilma Benavente, and Leonor Benavente; and three brothers, Jorge Benavente, Fernando Benavente, Eber Benavente.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL.

Visitation will precede the service on Wednesday, July 2 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church.

Interment will follow at Lake Mary Cemetery, Lake Mary, FL.
