He is preceded in death by his parents, Trave L. Brown and Edith A. Ford.
James is survived by his wife, Linda Brown, son, Keith E. Brown, daughter, Cynthia M. Thomas, grandchildren, Gregory A. Thomas, Robert E. Thomas, Lea M. King, Mary C. Thomas and Michael J. Thomas, great-grandchildren, Charlotte Thomas, Deanna Wei and Alice King, and sister, Mary L. McAnnally.
Celebration of Life is Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1:00 pm with gathering from 12pm to 1pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel), 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.
