James Matthew Ioime

James Matthew Ioime, Sr., age 90, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of profound strength, unshakeable integrity, and a devout believer in the Word of God.

As a husband, James loved his wife, Marie, with the sacrificial, enduring love described in Scripture, sharing 69 beautiful years of marriage. As a father, he was a firm foundation for his children, Jimmy, Tony, Marie, Gina, teaching them not just how to live, but how to walk by faith. He led his home with quiet strength, wisdom, and a servant’s heart.

James was a passionate student of the Bible. He didn't just read the Word; he lived it daily, letting it guide his steps as a provider, protector, and mentor.

While his family grieves this immense loss, they take comfort in the promise of the resurrection and rejoice knowing he has entered his eternal reward, having fought the good fight and kept the faith.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
