Jane Thompson

Jane Thompson, whose life began in Lake Worth and raised in West Palm Beach, was born to Jessie Thompson and Aileen Sanford. Jane brought joy and laughter to all who knew her until her unfortunate passing on June 22, 2026, in Valdosta, GA. 

Jane was deeply loved by her sons Lewis Thompson and wife Eliana, Tony Darling and wife Rachel, Kasey Darling and fiance Tiffany, and Jason Thompson. She was also cherished by a host of brothers and sisters, but survived by Deloris Bryant, her twin sister June Thompson and the baby sister Jessie Thompson. Jane has fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family was at the center of Jane's life, and the bonds she shared with those she loved were a source of strength, joy, and purpose.

As life progressed Jane met her late husband Mr. Henry Stone in Florida, and moved up to Macrae, Georgia. While being accustomed to the fast pace of the city life, Jane grew to enjoy the country lifestyle. She even acquired a fishing license and enjoyed evenings at the lake.

Jane possessed a rare gift of not knowing what a stranger was. After about two minutes of talking to anyone she had made a friend. Bringing people laughter was her specialty whether you laughed with her or at her, you were going to laugh. She was definitely the life of every gathering, effortlessly speaking to others and making them feel welcomed. Her charisma, warmth, and outgoing personality left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Guided by love, faith, and family, Jane lived each day with enthusiasm and to the fullest. She inspired others to appreciate life's simple simple joys, embrace new experiences, and treasure the moments spent with loved ones. Her faith in God was consistent throughout her life.

Though her time with us has come to an end, Jane's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. Her memory remains a beacon of love, laughter, strength, and faith. May the light she shared continue to shine in our hearts, guiding us to live with passion, generosity, and joy.

Rest peacefully, dear mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. You will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
