Jerry L. Thomas

Jerry L. Thomas, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 84 in Longwood, Florida. Born on November 20, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, Jerry grew up in Quincy, Illinois, where he developed a deep appreciation for life and the people around him.

Jerry was a proud alumnus of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree. His educational journey was marked not only by academic achievement but also by the lifelong friendships he nurtured throughout the years.

Those who knew Jerry remember him as a loving, kind, and generous man. His warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Jerry had a wide range of interests that enriched his life, including a love for country music, dancing, golf, and various sports. He approached every hobby with enthusiasm and joy, sharing his passions with family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Thomas, his children, Leigh Thomas and Jeff Thomas, and step children Steven Kitts and Tabitha Cain, who will forever cherish the memories of their time spent together. He is also survived by his siblings: Sharon Bittle, Diane Sabjan, and David Faler, who will hold his memory dear in their hearts.
