Joanne Maccagnano

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Joanne Maccagnano (known to family as Nanny), who passed away peacefully on September 2nd, her 86th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Joanne lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her faith, family, and friends.

Joanne was the beloved daughter of the late Angela and Vincent.

Her memory lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Anthony; her daughter, Theresa; her two sons, Anthony and Vincent, and their spouses, Nancy and Amy; her seven grandchildren, Kaley, Erika, Nicholas, Anthony, Ashtyn, Mia, and Micah; and her six great-grandchildren, Leo, Emilia, Jayla, Anthony (AJ), Troy, and Wesson.

Joanne will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her life stands as a true testament to the importance of family, love, and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 2nd at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Winter Park, FL. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Inurnment will follow the service at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park, FL.
