John David Houghtling, Jr

John "Jack" David Houghtling, Jr., age 76, of Orlando, Florida passed away at AdventHealth East with his wife by his side on September 20, 2021. He was born in Corry, Pennsylvania on October 25, 1944. John retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He then worked for the United States Postal Service for an additional 29 years. John enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and going on cruises with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed the daily chats with his veteran buddies at "the tree".

John is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Houghtling, his daughters: Teri (Russ) Volk and Christine (Jody) Field; his 3 step-daughters: Christine Whittle, Deborah Frank, and Karen Mask; his brothers: Richard (Sue) Houghtling and Eric (Marie) Houghtling; his sister Pam (Jeff) Tharpe and by his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. John is predeceased by his father John D. Houghtling and his mother Doris Moore.

John was a loving husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
