Jorge Mercado, 89 of Orlando passed away Monday, July 13, 2009. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was a Retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army.
Mr. Mercado is survived by his wife, Angelita Mercado of Orlando; daughters, Yvonne Ortiz of St. Cloud, FL and Georgina Robledo of Pennsylvania; son, Jorge Mercado Jr. of Miami. Also surviving are his daughters, Gladys of Puerto Rico, Olga of Puerto Rico, Maria of South Carolina, Elisita of Puerto Rico and Sonia of Puerto Rico; 24 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
