Jose Luis Class of Orlando, known to friends and family as Papa Joe or Joey, passed away on February 8, 2026 from complications related to a stroke at the age of 62.
Born June 28, 1963 to Haydee and Jose Class in Germany during his father's time in the US Army; Joe was a lifelong family man raising his two sons Luis (39), and Jose "Jay" (38) Class.
Joe met his companion in love and life, Carmen Ana Feliciano in 1996. They spent 30 years together building a home in Orlando, FL after both moved from New Jersey.
Joe was proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. He loved music and cooking and was a plumber by trade.
Joe, always willing to help anyone in need, was surrounded by a community of friends and family who will miss his sense of humor and booming voice.
He is survived by his wife Carmen, his sons, daughter-in-law Sandra, and three grandchildren: Aniyis (17), Julian (13) and Milena (11).
A celebration of life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on February 18, 2026 from 1pm to 5pm with a service to start at 2:30pm
