Tony is preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Magdalena Ortiz, and his wife, Lucia “Chia” Ortiz.

Tony deeply valued family and built a lifetime of memories with his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his children Migdalia, Nancy, Jose Antonio Jr., Osbaldo, Jose Antonio, favorite child Lily, and many grandchildren.

In his professional life, Tony made significant contributions. He excelled in his career as a NY City taxi driver and bus driver, making a positive impact on those he worked with and the community he served.

The viewing will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 895 S Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822. The service will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Park at 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
