Joseph M. Goodrich, a beloved family man and cherished member of the Central Florida community, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. Born on January 4, 1947, in Sanford, Joseph was a proud product of the local school system, graduating from Maynard Evans High School in the Class of 1965. His passion for learning led him to further his education at Valencia College.

Joseph's commitment to his country was exemplified through his service in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1969. He was honorably discharged with the rank of staff sergeant, embodying the values of dedication and service that defined his character throughout his life.

He and Pamela celebrated 58 remarkable years of marriage, having shared a beautiful 61 years together. Their family tree flourished under their love, with Joseph taking immense joy in the lives of his children, Joseph Michael Goodrich and his wife Amy Lynn, and daughter Jennifer Davis and her husband T. Kirk Davis. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, James Michael Goodrich, Anne Louise Goodrich, T. Austin Davis, and E. Haley Davis, all of whom he loved deeply.

Beyond his family ties, Joseph had a zest for life that was reflected in his hobbies and interests. He loved to travel, creating a collection of souvenirs from each destination he visited. Some of his fondest adventures included trips to Hawaii, France, Italy, and Spain, where he experienced new cultures and created lasting memories.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Goodrich; his son Joseph Michael Goodrich and his wife Amy Lynn; his daughter Jennifer Davis and her husband T. Kirk Davis; his four adoring grandchildren; and his brother Michael J. Goodrich.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Henry Goodrich; his mother, Marguarette Faye (McClelland) Goodrich; and his sister, Marguarette Fay Hamilton.
