Juana Medina, 92, of Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. She was born in San Jose De Ocoa, Dominican Republic on March 15, 1920 to Tomacito Castillo and Ofelia Cancan Peguero. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother who surrounded herself with family and friends. She loved to cook.
Juana was preceded in death by 3 children. She is survived by 6 children: Fernando Arturo Medina of Orlando, Wilfredo Medina of North Carolina, Odalix Medina of New Jersey, Gladys Salcedo of Santo Domingo, Leda Medina of New Jersey, and Miguelina Diaz of New Jersey, 18 grandchildren, and many other family and friends whom loved her.
