Judith (Judy) Ann Hewitt, age 84, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 4, 2026. Born in New Albany, Indiana, Judy lived a life marked by dedication to her family, hard work, and a generous spirit.
Judy was the beloved wife of 40 years to Frank Hewitt. She is survived by her sons, Eric and Brett Harrison, and a proud grandmother to Aubrey Harrison, Courtney Heilman (Robbie), and Emily Testerman (Joshua). Her joy was made even greater by her great-grandson, Eli, who brought her true happiness.
Throughout her life, Judy was known for her strong work ethic and professionalism. She built a successful career as a real-estate broker and later served as a TSA supervisor, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Judy found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. Judy was a tennis teaching professional. She competed and gave lessons for over 15 years. She loved cooking and collecting recipes, often expressing her love through favorite desserts and dishes shared with family. She had a passion for traveling and cherished the memories made along the way, always eager for her next adventure. She and Frank traveled the world with friends scuba diving and enjoying the beauty of the ocean.
Judy will be remembered not only for delicious food, but also her love and generous support to charities for animals and St. Jude. Her presence filled a room with laughter, and her legacy lives on in sharing her love of traveling and animals with her family. In her later years, she put together beautiful photo books for each family member that will be cherished for generations.
A memorial service will be held on February 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Hidden Lakes Golf Course in New Smyrna Beach.
