In Loving Memory of Julie Geraldine Millet

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Geraldine Millet, who departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of 75.

Julie was born on October 7, 1950, in the beautiful twin-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago to Arthley Valentine and Charles Martin. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Julie dedicated her life to caring for her family and took great pride in nurturing those she loved. Her home was always a place of warmth and welcome. Anyone who visited was greeted with a bright smile, a heartfelt embrace, and an offer of food or something to drink. Julie’s generosity made everyone feel loved and cared for.

Julie was also a hardworking and determined woman who built a meaningful career through dedication and perseverance. While living in Trinidad and Tobago, she worked for many years with the Ministry of Education, where she faithfully served her community. After migrating to the United States, Julie took the initiative to pursue training as a Healthcare Aide, demonstrating her willingness to embrace new opportunities and continue helping others. She successfully transitioned into the healthcare field and became a valued employee of Orlando Health, where she worked with compassion and commitment until her retirement. Her career reflected her caring nature and her lifelong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Known for her lively spirit, infectious laughter, and words of encouragement, Julie brought joy wherever she went. She loved hosting gatherings and celebrations and was often the life of the party. Even during life's most difficult moments, she found a way to smile and lift the spirits of those around her.

Julie leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Casandra Millet; her grandson, Keno Bournes; her sister, Carol Valentine; her nephews, Mario and Darryl; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Millet; her son, Damian Millet; her mother, Arthley Valentine; and her sister, Troy Valentine.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Her legacy of compassion, faith, generosity, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know and love her.
