Julio Rocher

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Julio Rocher lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his career, and his passions. He passed away surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love for his family and friends.

Julio was the beloved husband of Marian Rocher and the devoted son of Carmen Rocher and the late Mario Rocher. He was a proud brother to Mario Rocher Jr., Victor Rocher (Amelia). A loving father, Julio cherished his children, Crystal Strickland (Chris) and Catherine Manning (Trever), and was a proud grandfather to Caroline and Charlotte Strickland.

Julio’s journey took him from his birthplace in San Juan to the city of Chicago, Illinois, and later to Orlando, Florida, where he spent his life raising his family. He earned his degree from the University of Illinois, a testament to his commitment to education and personal growth.

Professionally, Julio served as a Federal Investigator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), dedicating his career to ensuring fairness and accountability within the housing system.

Outside of his professional life, Julio was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a loyal fan of baseball and football and held a lifelong passion for the sport of boxing. His enthusiasm for sports often brought family and friends together, creating lasting memories filled with lively conversation and camaraderie.

Julio Rocher will be remembered for his sharp wit, unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled in those around him.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
