Kathleen P. Preston

Kathleen Preston, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the age of 85.

Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and devoted animal lover. She had a warm and friendly personality and had a wonderful ability to make the people around her laugh. Her kindness, humor, and genuine love for others touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathleen was a proud mother to Laurie, Donna Connors (Harry), Raymond (Jennifer), Brian, Erin Elba (Barry), and her beloved son Christopher, who preceded her in death. She was a cherished grandmother to Matthew, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Jordan, Joey, and Lexie and great-grandmother to Ryan Jr., Arya, Charlotte and Juliette. Her family was a tremendous source of love and pride throughout her life.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Harold, and her sister, Eileen. She is survived by her sister Debbie Koster (Milt).

Among the many things Kathleen loved were animals, which held a very special place in her heart, and her beloved New York Mets. She enjoyed sharing her enthusiasm for the team and could always bring a little laughter and personality to any conversation.

Kathleen leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and stories that will continue to live on through her family and all those who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her loving spirit and sense of humor will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
