Kathy Ori, Mother, Nana, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 66 years young.
Kathy was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and lived in Orlando, Florida, over 40 years.
With a Master’s Degree, Kathy built a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant and was the proud owner of her own firm, Profit Keepers, where she was known for her professionalism, dedication, and the genuine care she showed her clients. She retired a few years ago after a fulfilling career.
Throughout her life, Kathy was known for her kindness, both toward others and toward animals. Over the years, she fostered and rescued many cats and dogs, opening her heart and home to countless animals in need. Her compassion extended beyond animals as well; Kathy also opened her home as a foster mother to children in need, providing them with love, stability, and care during difficult times. Her generosity of spirit and devotion to helping the vulnerable, both two-legged and four-legged, was a defining part of who she was.
In keeping with Kathy's wishes, there will be no formal service. The family kindly requests that those who wish to honor her memory consider making a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society for cancer research or to the SPCA of Central Florida, two causes that were close to her heart.
Kathy faced her illness with incredible strength and grace. Her love, kindness, and spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
