Kenneth P Brown

Born January 31, 1942 to Kenneth L Brown and Bridget "Betty" Brown in Fall River, Massachusetts. His younger twin brothers, Peter and Stephen, were born two years later. Ken was a smart go-getter who bought his first car with savings from his paper route long before he was old enough to get a driver's license. He graduated early and went into the Air Force at 17, became a weapons specialist, and enjoyed his time in Germany. After the Air Force he moved to Daytona Beach Florida where one rainy day he met the love of his life, Sylvia. He married Sylvia on August 28, 1965 and graduated from FSU a few years later. Ken went on to become a Certified Public Accountant, worked on the first ever Florida State Legislature audit, and eventually moved to Maitland with his family. He was a Meridian Club member for over 50 years, 19 of which he was treasurer. Ken was self-employed with his own successful CPA practice from 1977 until he retired in 2018. Numbers weren't just his livelihood, Ken loved numbers and playing cards. Blackjack and poker were just a few of his hobbies, like travel and his love of vintage vehicles, that he managed to share with his entire family. Ken had a great sense of humor and a smile that could light up the room. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Ken was survived by his loving wife of over 60 years Sylvia Brown, his two children Michael Brown and Jennifer Richardson, his grandchildren Franklin Richardson III, Benjamin Brown, Rachel Brown, and Joshua Brown, as well as his great-grandson Franklin Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
