Kenneth R. Wiedenmann

Kenneth R. Wiedenmann, 84, of Winter Park, Florida, was called to glory on Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

Kenneth was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and was the son of the late Rev. Hans and Lieselotte Wiedenmann. He was baptized on Sunday, July 26, 1942, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Napoleon, North Dakota. In May of 1956, he was confirmed at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Ohio City, Ohio.

After graduation from Van Wert High School, he attended Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. He served as an architect under Mies van der Rohe and other notable Chicago architects for over 41 years. He also was drafted and served in the U.S. Army early in his career.

He was an avid collector of Florida Highwaymen paintings, vintage post cards, and books on history.

Frederick Wiedenmann (Kelley) of Dawsonville, GA

Ruth Wiedenmann of Winter Springs, FL

Jeanne Wiedenmann of Winter Springs, FL.

+ He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois Buhrmaster.+

Memorials may be designated and given to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church’s Music Ministry or the Lutheran Haven Foundation (Auxiliary).

The Funeral Service for Kenneth will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church at 10:30 am. Visitation with the family begins at 10:00 am. St. Luke’s is located at 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, FL, 32765. Interment will follow the service at St. Luke’s Cemetery.
