Kim is lovingly remembered by his family: his father, Franklin Shepherd; sister, Tammi Atwood; fiancée, Hang Duong; daughter, Ariana Shepherd; son, Jonathan Shepherd; brother-in-law, Travis Atwood; niece, Morgan Schwering; nephew, Anthony Atwood; and great-niece, Avery Schwering. Their lives were enriched by Kim’s love, support, and the warmth he so freely gave. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janis Shepherd, whose memory he cherished deeply.

Friends and family will gather to honor Kim’s life and legacy with a visitation on May 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole, located at 335 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL. This will be followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The day will conclude with burial services at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL, at 3:00 PM.

Kim’s memory will resonate in the stories shared, the music played in his honor, and the enduring love of all those he touched. His life was a beautiful testament to following one’s passions, embracing faith, and cherishing family.
