Lizzette Ileana Acaron-Montesino, a remarkable woman whose life was marked by kindness, creativity, and an extraordinary talent in mathematics, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Born on February 17, 1958, in Rio Piedras, she lived a full and inspiring life, touching the hearts of many with her generous spirit and multifaceted talents.
Lizzette was not only a gifted mathematician but also a devoted mother, an avid seamstress, and an excellent cook who found joy in baking pastries that delighted family and friends alike. Her creative energies extended beyond her professional career; she was a woman who truly embraced life with warmth and passion. Her love for gardening, traveling, and the natural beauty of the ocean, sky, and sea enriched her days, reflecting her deep connection to the world around her.
In addition to her professional and personal passions, Lizzette was an active participant in her community’s choir, where her involvement exemplified her love for music and fellowship. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, and talented individual whose generosity knew no bounds.
Lizzette's nurture and care were felt deeply within her family and those close to her. She was a cherished wife to David Montesino and a beloved mother to Adriana Montesino. She is survived by her sister, Grace Acaron, and Grace’s husband Gilbert Traverzo, along with their children Michael and Natalia Traverzo. Her extended family includes her sister-in-law Noemi Amira and her husband Ronald along with their children Brandon, Brad, and Brooke Amira, as well as her sister-in-law Ruth Consolato, her husband Joseph and their children, Crystal and Kevin. She will be missed by her brother-in-law Manuel Montesino and his wife Darlene Montesino, along with nephews Manuel and Mark Montesino. The memory of her parents, Luis and Ana Acaron, who have preceded her in death, remains a guiding presence in her life’s story.
Lizzette Ileana Acaron-Montesino’s legacy is one of compassion, creativity, and dedication. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
