It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucia (Lucy) Valentine Rivera, Lucy was born on March 4, 1937, and transitioned out of this life on November 16, 2025. Through her journey of 88 years, she touched many lives with her wisdom, humor, and an unwavering spirit of perseverance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roberto Barrios, Edwin Santiago, Nelson Roland, and Michael Santiago.

She is survived by her children, Jona Barrios, Evelyn Rentas, William Rivera, Said Carter and 11 grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 PM.
